We accept visual (photography, collages, illustrations, paintings, video) and written (essays, poetry, articles, short stories) works from creators of any age and marginalized identity/background. We accept bodies of work (such as photo essays or photo series, poetry and visual art collections) as well as standalone pieces. If you are sending in multiple separate works, please note this in your submission email, otherwise it will be taken for a single collection.
Submissions should be centered on or draw inspiration from the issue's theme, but we give creators free reign to interpret this theme in their work any way they see fit.
We do not accept works that have been published before.
For all visual submissions, please submit high quality, high resolution images of your work. (For video submissions, please link us to an existing Vimeo or Youtube video.)
Pitches for written and/or visual works: Along with your pitch, please send in a few examples of your previous works.
Please include titles of each work and/or collection, as well as an artistic statement about your work and a short creator's bio. Creators are welcome to include social media handles or personal website links in their bios.
